Pair of Vincennes seaux à bouteille by Armand, l'ainé. The exquisitely painted large birds are by the acknowledged master of bird painting at Vincennes and Sèvres, Louis-Denis Armand l’ainé, known as “the Crescent Painter”. [One with a firing crack, the other with a repaired base.]
