| Very fine and rare German neoclassical round table attributed to Johann Michael Rummer. The table has four spring-loaded mechanically operated drawers. The top is decorated with a fine marquetry roundel portraying a spray of flowers. The piece is mounted with fine ormolu and re-silvered bronzes. A writing table by the same maker, but attributed to Fiedler, is illustrated in Schreibmöbel 1700-1850: Wolfgang L. Eller; Michael Imhof Verlag, Petersberg, 2006. Page 211, Abb. 195.
