Small Sèvres cerise and celadon ground cup and saucer with Chinoiserie reserves on white ground. The saucer is decorated with a cerise border decorated with gilded scrolls enclosing celadon ground circles centered with polychrome and gilded butterflies and a central celadon ground ring. Four reserves depict Chinoiserie figures outlined in gold in landscapes. The cup, with cerise borders, has two round reserves with butterflies, one under the handle, the other opposite. There are two reserves on white ground, one depicting a man and a woman dining al fresco, the other a monkey teasing a bird.
