candelabra 007

Pair  Louis XVI  three-light candelabra of ormoulu, bronze patiné, and bleu turquin marble. The three well chased fluted arms, cast with acanthus motifs and scrolls, surround a thyrsus enclosed by an open helix of grape vines. The arms issue from cornucopiae held aloft by classically dressed bronze patiné figures of women. The figures rest on ormoulu headed bleu turquin cylindrical pedestals hung with grape vine swags raised on square ormoulu plinths. [One arm repaired. Lacking chains.]
