Louis XIV ormolu chandelier

Fine and rare well-chased Louis XIV ormoulu six light chandelier.  The baluster form central shaft is decorated with three female busts near the top.  Six S-form arms issue from alternating male and female busts probably symbolizing Bacchus and Flora.  Original gilding. [The arms are drilled for electricity. The candleholders and arms are now joined by threaded electrical fittings.]
A nearly identical pair of chandeliers is in the Rijksmuseum. (See: Reinier Baarsen: Paris 1650-1900 Decorative Arts in the Rijksmuseum; Yale University Press, New Haven and London, 2013. N 16.)
